CONCURRENT RESOLUTION OF THE SENATE AND ASSEMBLY
fixing the salaries of the offices of Governor and
Lieutenant-Governor pursuant to sections 3 and 6 of
article 4 of the Constitution of the State of New
York

WHEREAS, The salaries of the offices of Governor and
Lieutenant-Governor were last increased to take effect in nineteen
hundred ninety-nine; and

WHEREAS, The salaries of other state officials and employees have
been fixed at levels which exceed or closely approach the salaries of
the Governor and Lieutenant-Governor; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That effective January first, two
thousand nineteen the salary of the office of Governor shall be fixed at
two hundred thousand dollars per annum and the salary of the office of
the Lieutenant-Governor shall be fixed at one hundred ninety thousand
dollars per annum; and be it further

RESOLVED, That effective January first, two thousand twenty the
salary of the office of Governor shall be fixed at two hundred
twenty-five thousand dollars per annum and the salary of the office of
Lieutenant-Governor shall be fixed at two hundred ten thousand dollars
per annum, provided such increase shall be conditioned upon the timely
legislative passage of the budget for the preceding year, as defined in
part HHH of chapter 59 of the laws of 2018; and be it further

RESOLVED, That effective January first, two thousand twenty-one the
salary of the office of Governor shall be fixed at two hundred fifty
thousand dollars per annum and the salary of the office of
Lieutenant-Governor shall be fixed at two hundred twenty thousand
dollars per annum, provided such increase shall be conditioned upon the
timely legislative passage of the budget for the preceding year, as
defined in part HHH of chapter 59 of the laws of 2018.
