COMMENDING Gisell Huiracocha upon the occasion of
being inducted into the 2019 SUNY New Paltz School
of Business Hall of Fame as Student Leader of the
Year

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those young people within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Gisell Huiracocha upon the occasion of being inducted into the
2019 SUNY New Paltz School of Business Hall of Fame as Student Leader of
the Year, to be celebrated with an Induction Ceremony on April 24, 2019,
at the Grandview, Poughkeepsie, New York; and

WHEREAS, A student at SUNY New Paltz, Gisell Huiracocha has
distinguished herself as a young woman of superlative ability,
establishing a high standard of academic excellence and purposefulness
of life rarely achieved in youthful years; and

WHEREAS, In achieving this high academic honor, Gisell Huiracocha
may take just pride in the inspiration and contribution to the spirit of
excellence she brings to her family, friends, community and school; and

WHEREAS, As Gisell Huiracocha takes her leave of SUNY New Paltz, she
bequeaths a legacy of academic achievement, school involvement and
community service to which others may aspire; and

WHEREAS, Gisell Huiracocha stands poised on the threshold of a broad
and challenging world; a testament to the love and nurturing care of her
family, friends and school; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is moved to honor Gisell Huiracocha,
a young woman and able scholar, recognizing the value of her labors and
the promise of her future; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Gisell Huiracocha upon the occasion of being inducted into the
2019 SUNY New Paltz School of Business Hall of Fame as Student Leader of
the Year, and to extend to her the best wishes of this Legislative Body
for a future of purposeful success and well-being, fully confident of
her response to a promising future and appreciative of the model she
represents for all aspiring young people of the Empire State; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Gisell Huiracocha.
