CONGRATULATING Angelina Badolato upon the occasion
of her designation as recipient of the Bethpage High
School Class of 1978 Memorial Scholarship on May 30,
2019

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those young people within this great Empire State who
have made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as
role models for their peers; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate Angelina Badolato upon the occasion of her designation as
recipient of the Bethpage High School Class of 1978 Memorial Scholarship
on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Bethpage Senior High School; and

WHEREAS, The Bethpage High School Class of 1978 Memorial Scholarship
was established to honor the memory of departed classmates and friends;
and

WHEREAS, The scholarship honors a graduating senior who has
exhibited kindness, empathy and strong citizenship skills during their
tenure at Bethpage Senior High School; Angelina Badolato is one such
individual; and

WHEREAS, Angelina Badolato has distinguished herself as a young
woman of superlative ability, establishing a high standard of academic
excellence and purposefulness of life rarely achieved in youthful years;
and

WHEREAS, In achieving this high academic honor, Angelina Badolato
may take just pride in the inspiration and contribution to the spirit of
excellence she brings to her family, friends, community and school; and

WHEREAS, As Angelina Badolato takes her leave of Bethpage Senior
High School, she bequeaths a legacy of academic achievement, school
involvement and community service to which others may aspire; and

WHEREAS, Angelina Badolato stands poised on the threshold of a broad
and challenging world; a testament to the love and nurturing care of her
family, friends and school; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is moved to honor Angelina Badolato,
a young woman and able scholar, recognizing the value of her labors and
the promise of her future; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Angelina Badolato upon the occasion of her designation as
recipient of the Bethpage High School Class of 1978 Memorial Scholarship
on May 30, 2019; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Angelina Badolato.
