HONORING Michael Jubak, Jr. upon the occasion of
his designation as recipient of a Metropolitan High
School Theater Award on June 10, 2019

WHEREAS, The arts, in whatever form, are central to human
expression; they are truly a universal language and their contribution
to the development of friendship and understanding among all peoples
cannot be underestimated; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord
with its long-standing traditions, to honor the achievements of its
young citizens and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and
accomplishments exemplify the ideals and values cherished by this great
State and Nation; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Michael
Jubak, Jr. upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of a
Metropolitan High School Theater Award in the category of Comic
Performance by a Male, celebrated on Monday, June 10, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Michael Jubak, Jr. of Harrison High School, received this
auspicious award in recognition of his extraordinary performance in his
role as Parchester in the play, "Me and My Girl"; and

WHEREAS, An outstanding role model for his classmates, Michael
Jubak, Jr. has brought honor to his family, school, and community; and

WHEREAS, Michael Jubak, Jr. has distinguished himself as a young man
of superlative ability, talent, and maturity, establishing standards of
excellence and achievement, purposefulness of life, and responsibility
rarely achieved in youthful years; and

WHEREAS, Poised eagerly with enthusiasm and determined purpose,
Michael Jubak, Jr. now stands honorably, with just pride in his
accomplishments and in eager anticipation of future challenges,
understanding and appreciating the caring counsel and support provided
by his teachers, family, and community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Michael Jubak, Jr. upon the occasion of his designation as
recipient of a Metropolitan High School Theater Award; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Michael Jubak, Jr.
