CONGRATULATING the Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama
Football Team upon the occasion of capturing the New
York State Public High School Athletic Association
Class D Championship

WHEREAS, Individual and team championships are highly sought after
in high school sports; this Legislative Body commends rare athletic
achievements and pays special recognition to those who pursue such
excellence and become examples for the youth of this great Empire State;
and

WHEREAS, Excellence and success in competitive sports can be
achieved only through strenuous practice, team play and team spirit,
nurtured by dedicated coaching and strategic planning; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to congratulate the
Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama Football Team upon the occasion of
capturing the New York State Public High School Athletic Association
Class D Championship on Friday, November 29, 2019 in Syracuse, New York;
and

WHEREAS, To the praise and applause of their excited fans, the
Wolfpack were able to surmount their opponents in the New York State
Championship game and accomplish the utmost high school sporting
accomplishment in this great Empire State; and

WHEREAS, The Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama Wolfpack ended a very
successful season finishing 11-1 and capped their historic season off
with a 47-6 triumphal victory over Section 7 Champion Moriah to secure
the Class D New York State Football Championship; and

WHEREAS, These are not uncharted waters for the Wolfpack, who also
won the 2018 Class D New York State Football Championship, further
showing the dedication and drive that the Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama
Football Team has year in and year out; and

WHEREAS, In a sport such as football, which demands athletic
prowess, an abundance of strength, and mental toughness, Head Coach Ty
Harper worked hard to hone the skills of this championship team,
teaching these outstanding athletes lessons which will prove invaluable
both on and off the field; and

WHEREAS, Coach Harper and his staff, along with the outstanding
athletes on the Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama Football Team have clearly
utilized dedication, determination and teamwork in providing a lasting
contribution to the spirit of excellence which is a tradition of their
school; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate the members of the Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama Football
Team: Bishop Kopta, Cameron Barmore, Parker Gratto, Kyle Goodrich, Owen
Gratto, Derek Sears, Keith Gormley, Roger Mack, Luke Lundeen, Jordan
Svetz, Gerrit Hinsdale, Braden Cook, Brendon Ramsey, Matthew White,

Connor Cooper, John Swabik, Jarvis Bivins, Patrick Wells, Cooper Brown,
TreyVon Kopta, Austin White, Micah Willink, Zack Calhoun, Chris Lillie,
Jonathan Simpkins, Sally Watson, Landen Swan, Paul Majchrzak, Brady
Duryee, Hayden Heiser, Carter Thornton, Zach Chase, Derrick Jadlowksi,
Alex Dunnewold, Lucas Rater, Kyle Ryan, Zavon Overton; and Head Coach Ty
Harper; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the members of the Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama Football
Team and Head Coach Ty Harper.
