HONORING Thomas F. Flynn upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the 2020 Third Age
Achievement Award for Business by Lifepath

WHEREAS, From time to time this Legislative Body takes note of
certain extraordinary individuals it wishes to recognize for their
valued contributions to the success and progress of society and publicly
acknowledge their endeavors which have enhanced the basic humanity among
us all; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Thomas F.
Flynn upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the 2020
Third Age Achievement Award for Business by Lifepath, which was
celebrated at its 24th Annual Awards Ceremony on Friday, May 25, 2020;
and

WHEREAS, Each year, this auspicious event recognizes the
contributions area residents and professionals have made in their
communities during the Third Age, after turning 60 years-old, of their
lives; Thomas F. Flynn is truly deserving of this prestigious award;
and

WHEREAS, Lifepath is dedicated to keeping older neighbors and
friends healthy and safe by providing effective programs and support to
help them stay connected to their communities; and

WHEREAS, Thomas F. Flynn is the CEO and President of Jaeger & Flynn
Associates, Inc. which was founded in 1988; today, he is just as
energetic, taking the stairs, two at a time, instead of riding the
elevator; and

WHEREAS, This extraordinary man works tirelessly for both his
clients and his staff; he recognizes them all as the cornerstone of his
business and appreciates each one of them for their contributions to the
success of his company; and

WHEREAS, Thomas F. Flynn is not only a mentor and inspiration to his
employees, he is a leader in his community; he shares his success by
making significant contributions to the arts, human services
organizations, and other non-profit organizations throughout the Capital
District and beyond; and

WHEREAS, In addition to his significant contributions, Thomas F.
Flynn gives of his time; he is involved in the Universal Unitarian
Church in Saratoga, AIM Services, Shelters of Saratoga, and Wildwood
Programs, to name a few; and

WHEREAS, With him throughout has been his wife, Beth, who feels
privileged to be a part of his life and rejoices in his achievements;
together, they have sailed the Galapagos Islands and cruised the Panama
Canal, as well as enjoyed hikes and outings in a kayak in the
Adirondacks; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Thomas F. Flynn upon the occasion of his designation as recipient
of the 2020 Third Age Achievement Award for Business by Lifepath; and be
it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Thomas F. Flynn.
