COMMENDING Helen Hall upon the occasion of her
retirement as Osceola Town Clerk after more than 35
years of distinguished public service

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body seeks to acknowledge those
individuals whose professional lives and civic endeavors serve to
enhance the stature of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize that
the quality and character of life in communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those
individuals who are devoted to the welfare of their community and its
citizenry; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Helen Hall upon the occasion of her retirement as Osceola Town
Clerk after more than 35 years of distinguished service; this auspicious
milestone was celebrated at the Town's 2018 Christmas Party; and

WHEREAS, From 1984-2018, Helen Hall served as the Osceola Town
Clerk; in this capacity, she has overseen countless initiatives that
have made her community a better and stronger place to live; and

WHEREAS, In addition to her role as Town Clerk, Helen Hall worked
with the local food bank, helped organize various holiday parties and
church dinners, and graciously offered to drive her neighbors to their
doctor's appointments and to pick up groceries; and

WHEREAS, For more than 35 years, Helen Hall rendered faithful,
conscientious and valuable service to the Town of Osceola; in her
capacity as Clerk, she served with loyalty, honor and distinction; and

WHEREAS, In her official acts, Helen Hall was governed by a keen
sense of duty and always showed a unique grasp of human problems; and

WHEREAS, During her tenure with the Town of Osceola, Helen Hall
earned the admiration, esteem and affection of her colleagues; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Helen Hall upon the occasion of her retirement as Osceola Town
Clerk after more than 35 years of distinguished public service, and to
wish her continued success in all of her future endeavors; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Helen Hall.
