COMMENDING Del Children Foundation upon the
occasion of hosting its first Annual Gala on June
29, 2019

WHEREAS, Individuals and organizations devoted to improving the
quality of life for others, enabling them to build lives of dignity and
self-worth are deserving of the highest praise and recognition; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Del
Children Foundation upon the occasion of hosting its first Annual Gala
on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Our Lady of Miracles Parish Hall in
Brooklyn, New York; and

WHEREAS, Founded in January of 2018, Stand Up With Haiti Network
Group has been working hard with the help of its members and volunteers
to help children in poor communities in Haiti through immediate hunger
relief programs as we promote education and encourage a healthy and
clean environment; and

WHEREAS, On October 8, 2018, Del Children Foundation (DCF) was
created as a non-profit organization to empower children with education
so that they may grow into adults that may do the same for future
generations; and

WHEREAS, This vital foundation is dedicated to funding and
delivering charitable services, and strives to inspire and improve the
lives of those who need assistance; and

WHEREAS, The success of DCF is in direct correlation to the efforts
of its staff, whose involvement is, and always has been, characterized
by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an
uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of the
institution and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, Since its inception, DCF has truly made it easy to help
others; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when
individuals and organizations of such noble aims and accomplishments are
brought to our attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by
all the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Del Children Foundation upon the occasion of hosting its first
Annual Gala on June 29, 2019; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Del Children Foundation.
