COMMEMORATING the 50th Anniversary of Dynabrade
Inc. in Clarence, New York, on April 1, 2019

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize those
illustrious pioneer companies of the State of New York whose focus and
intent have made a substantial impact on the quality of life in their
communities; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Dynabrade Inc. in Clarence, New
York, to be celebrated at an event on Monday, April 1, 2019; and

WHEREAS, For five decades, Dynabrade has designed high-quality tools
and innovative solutions to improve the operator's environmental safety,
process time, and finishes which reduces its customers' costs; and

WHEREAS, In 1969, Walter Welsch established Dynabrade with one
brilliant idea, the Dynafile Abrasive Belt Tool as a method of improving
the task of hand-filing metals and other hard surfaces, while making
this process quicker and easier than ever before; and

WHEREAS, Thanks to this innovative, entrepreneurial spirit,
Dynabrade thrives to this day, continuously upgrading the product
offered, through extensive research and development based on market
needs and new technological advancements in the tool and abrasive
industries; and

WHEREAS, From its humble beginnings, Dynabrade's corporate
headquarters and manufacturing plant is currently situated in a 150,000
sq. ft. facility in Clarence, New York, and has grown to the point
where it services hundreds of distributors all over the world, sharing
global sales responsibilities with Dynabrade Europe (Luxembourg) and
Dynabrade India (Maharashtra); Dynabrade International Sales (Clarence)
supports these offices, along with direct responsibility for sales
representatives in Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, and
Asia/Pacific Rim; and

WHEREAS, Today, through the continued hard work and determination of
its employees, Dynabrade has earned a worldwide reputation for
excellence, holding a leadership position in the innovative design and
manufacturing of unique portable power tools and related accessories;
and

WHEREAS, For 50 years, Dynabrade has strived to continually provide
a positive and meaningful impact for all of its stakeholders: its
customers, employees, shareholders, and community; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges contributions of Dynabrade to the local and State
economies, and extends its highest commendation to this corporate
enterprise, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy the sparkling
success it has enjoyed thus far; now, therefore, be it


RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Dynabrade Inc. in Clarence, New
York, on April 1, 2019; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Dynabrade Inc.
