COMMENDING Aimee and Bram Weber upon the occasion
of their designation for special recognition by the
Schechter School of Long Island on March 28, 2019

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to commend the
efforts of those individuals within the State of New York who give of
their time and energies in support of spiritual endeavors which aim to
benefit the community at large; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Aimee and Bram Weber upon the occasion of their designation for
special recognition by the Schechter School of Long Island to be
celebrated at its Annual Dinner Gala on Thursday, March 28, 2019; and

WHEREAS, The Schechter School of Long Island (SSLI) is a Jewish day
school whose dual curriculum of excellence educates and empowers its
students to be critical thinkers, ethical leaders, and globally engaged
citizens, striving to achieve their full potential and ensuring a
vibrant Jewish future; and

WHEREAS, Each and every student's unique potential and strengths are
nurtured and celebrated, guiding them towards achieving their personal
goals; students at the SSLI are taught six core values, Torah, Ahavat
Yisrael, Kehila, Mitzvot, Tefillah and Gemilut Chasadim, and Tikkun Olam
which will guide them through every stage of life; and

WHEREAS, As the devoted parents of 3rd grader Harry Daniel, and
Nathan Jacob, Aimee and Bram Weber proudly serve as volunteers and
philanthropic leaders at SSLI; Aimee is also the co-President of the
Schechter PA, and Bram holds the title of Vice President of the school's
Board of Trustees; and

WHEREAS, In addition to their valuable work at the school, Aimee and
Bram Weber are actively involved with various Jewish, secular and
healthcare charities; and

WHEREAS, When they are not helping someone in their community, Aimee
Weber is an accomplished educator and Bram Weber is a commercial real
estate development lawyer; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when
individuals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Aimee and Bram Weber upon the occasion of their designation for
special recognition by the Schechter School of Long Island on March 28,
2019; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Aimee and Bram Weber.
