COMMEMORATING the 20th Anniversary of Community
Bridge Home, Inc. in Queens, New York, on March 16,
2019

WHEREAS, It is the custom of the Legislative Body to recognize those
established organizations within our communities that, year after year,
diligently work to improve the quality of life for its citizenry; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Community Bridge Home, Inc. in
Queens, New York, to be celebrated at its Annual Meeting on Saturday,
March 16, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Community Bridge Home, is a not-for-profit organization
created to provide a safe, comfortable, and convenient handicap
accessible environment; for two decades, it has served the needs of
numerous seniors, youth, educational, civic, fraternal, recreational,
social and religious groups; and

WHEREAS, The residents of the community come to Community Bridge
Home to socialize, celebrate special occasions, exercise, learn new
skills and enjoy each other's company; and

WHEREAS, The success of Community Bridge Home is in direct
correlation to the efforts of its staff, whose involvement is, and
always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled
enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all
endeavors on behalf of the institution and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Community Bridge Home, Inc. in
Queens, New York, on March 16, 2019; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Community Bridge Home, Inc.
