HONORING Bank on Buffalo upon the occasion of its
designation as recipient of the Groundbreaking Award
by the Niagara USA Chamber

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that the quality
and character of life in this great Empire State is indelibly enriched
by the faithful efforts of those financial institutions and their
leadership who devote their purpose to promoting economic vitality and
service the public need; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Bank on Buffalo upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the
Groundbreaking Award by the Niagara USA Chamber to be celebrated at its
2019 Awards Ceremony at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, Niagara
Falls, New York, on Friday, March 15, 2019; and

WHEREAS, The Niagara USA Chamber is proud to celebrate business
excellence in the Niagara Region; and

WHEREAS, A division of CNB Financial corporation, Bank on Buffalo
was established in 2016 and developed by the people and business leaders
in the area; and

WHEREAS, Entering the market by offering commercial loans, Bank on
Buffalo has since expanded to consumer banking and wealth management; it
is steadfast in its mission to help mid-market businesses, their owners
and employees with custom solutions that fit their needs; and

WHEREAS, Personalized customer service is top priority and decisions
are made at the local level; this local decision-making increases the
level of service provided to the communities in and around Buffalo, and
brings growth to the entire region; and

WHEREAS, Currently, Bank on Buffalo has four full service branches
and also a private banking and wealth management service; overwhelmed by
the reception of the community, an additional branch is slated to open
in Amherst, New York, later in 2019; and

WHEREAS, Presently, Niagara Falls is working on a new location,
built from the ground-up; as a community bank, Bank on Buffalo always
finds a way to say yes to its customers; and

WHEREAS, Bank on Buffalo, a friendly and supportive financial
institution, is the quintessential selection for the prestigious
Groundbreaking Award; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body looks favorably upon the strong role
which institutions such as Bank on Buffalo play in strengthening the
social and economic fabric of our communities through providing growth
opportunities for citizens and businesses; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Bank on Buffalo upon the occasion of its designation as recipient
of the Groundbreaking Award by the Niagara USA Chamber; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Bank on Buffalo.
