Assembly Resolution No. 288

COMMENDING Lyons National Bank upon the occasion
of being named the 2018 Business of the Year by the
Lyons Chamber of Commerce on April 8, 2019

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that the quality
and character of life in this great Empire State is indelibly enriched
by the faithful efforts of those financial institutions and their
leadership who devote their purpose to promoting economic vitality and
to serve the public need; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Lyons National Bank upon the occasion of being named the 2018
Business of the Year by the Lyons Chamber of Commerce; and

WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion was celebrated with a dinner on
Monday, April 8, 2019, at Maitre D' at Trombino's in Lyons, New York;
and

WHEREAS, Lyons National Bank is receiving this inaugural award for
its steadfast and unremitting commitment to its customers and community;
and

WHEREAS, Established over 165 years ago in Lyons, the bank is
currently based in Geneva, New York, and consists of 15 branch offices
in seven counties; and

WHEREAS, Devoted to its community, Lyons National Bank is a proud
supporter of many local events and projects including the annual holiday
Business After Hours event, Peppermint Days, Lyons Main Street Program
events, the Community Center capital campaign and the Lyons Heritage
Society; and

WHEREAS, The success of Lyons National Bank is in direct correlation
to the efforts of its President Tom Kime and his staff, whose
involvement is, and always has been, characterized by an impressive
commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of
excellence in all endeavors; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body looks favorably upon the strong role
which institutions such as Lyons National Bank play in strengthening the
social and economic fabric of our communities through providing growth
opportunities for citizens and businesses; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Lyons National Bank upon the occasion of being named the 2018
Business of the Year by the Lyons Chamber of Commerce on April 8, 2019;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Tom Kime, President, Lyons National Bank.
