HONORING Nathan Mroz upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the Young Entrepreneur
of the Year Award by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce on March 5, 2020

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to take note of
and publicly acknowledge individuals who have distinguished themselves
through their exemplary careers, accomplishments, and purposeful lives
of service to their community; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Nathan Mroz upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce, to be celebrated at its 48th Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday,
March 5, 2020, at Samuel's Grande Manor, Williamsville, New York; and

WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of Clarence, New York, 25-year old
Nathan Mroz strives to make Western New York a better place to live,
work and play; his passion for the region inspired him to create The
BFLO Store, which began, and is now the largest Buffalo themed retailer
in all of Western New York; and

WHEREAS, With an emphasis on the customer experience, The BFLO Store
has grown every year since its inception as a mall kiosk in 2012; and

WHEREAS, This extraordinary young man now owns and operates six BFLO
Store locations, specializing in home and office decor, jewelry,
apparel, gifts and more; furthermore, the store recently became partners
with the Buffalo Bills; and

WHEREAS, Under the luminous direction of Nathan Mroz, The BFLO Store
steadfastly supports more than 100 local artisans and small businesses;
and

WHEREAS, In addition to this great success in business, Nathan Mroz
recently entered the real estate development field with the renovation
of the former Sears department store at Eastern Hills Mall; the building
is being developed into a mix of local retailers, restaurants, a salon,
church, new event and banquet center, and office space into what he
calls, The BFLO District; and

WHEREAS, Nathan Mroz graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Urban Planning and Regional Development from Buffalo State College in
2016; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Nathan Mroz upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce, and to wish him continued success in all of his future
endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Nathan Mroz.
