HONORING Kreher Family Farms upon the occasion of
its designation as recipient of the Large Business
of the Year Award by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce on March 3, 2022

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing the economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Kreher Family Farms upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of
the Large Business of the Year Award by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce, to be celebrated at its 49th Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday,
March 3, 2022, at Samuel's Grande Manor in Clarence, New York; and

WHEREAS, Kreher Family Farms is receiving this prestigious award for
its steadfast and unremitting commitment to its Clarence community; and

WHEREAS, Kreher Family Farms has produced and marketed high quality
agricultural products for almost a century; with a culture deeply rooted
in values passed down over four generations, the business had grown and
flourished from its humble beginnings as a small farm with cows, pigs
and 54 chickens; and

WHEREAS, Today, Kreher Family Farms employs over 300, and is
comprised of multiple family-owned egg farms, a growing compost and
fertilizer business, and one of the largest organic crop operations in
New York State; and

WHEREAS, Since its inception, Kreher Family Farms has strived to "do
the right thing" and "do things right", for the good of its people,
flocks, customers and the incredible communities it calls home by
supporting over 100 non-profits and charitable organization throughout
the region; and

WHEREAS, The success of Kreher Family Farms is in direct correlation
to the efforts of its staff, whose involvement is, and always has been,
characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and
an uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of
the institution and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges Kreher Family Farms' success, recognizes its contributions
to the local and State economies, and extends its highest commendation
to the corporation and its employees, fully confident that, in its
future, it will enjoy the same success which has so characterized its
past; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Kreher Family Farms upon the occasion of its designation as

recipient of the Large Business of the Year Award by the Clarence
Chamber of Commerce; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Kreher Family Farms.
