COMMENDING Fernande Valme Ministries, Inc. upon
the occasion of hosting its 50th Anniversary Gala on
April 29, 2022

WHEREAS, The character and richness of religious and community life
in this noble Empire State is nourished and fulfilled through the
faithful concern and selfless devotion of those who would commit their
energies and purpose to the ministry of others; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to bring full
recognition and just tribute to those organizations and individuals who
distinguish themselves and the ministry through their unremitting
commitment and preeminence of service; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend the Fernande Valme Ministries, Inc. upon the occasion of hosting
its 50th Anniversary Gala on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Terrace on the
Park, Corona Queens, New York; and

WHEREAS, Founded by Evangelist Fernande Valme, Fernande Valme
Ministries is a non-profit organization which works to respond to those
in desperate need of aid; and

WHEREAS, Throughout its distinguished 50-year history, this vital
organization has provided humanitarian support to countless families by
providing nutrition, education, healthcare, disaster relief and
spiritual guidance; and

WHEREAS, Remaining true to its mission, Fernande Valme Ministries
continues to share the word of God while tirelessly serving the less
fortunate and propagating the principles of brotherhood; and

WHEREAS, The success of Fernande Valme Ministries is in direct
correlation to the efforts of its dedicated staff, volunteers and
supporters, whose involvement is, and always has been, characterized by
an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising
standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of the organization
and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion presents an opportunity for this
Legislative Body to recognize and pay tribute to Fernande Valme
Ministries; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when
individuals and organizations of such noble aims and accomplishments are
brought to our attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by
all the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Fernande Valme Ministries, Inc. upon the occasion of hosting its
50th Anniversary Gala, confident that this commemoration reflects our

belief in those values which enhance the dignity and purpose of life;
and be it further
