COMMENDING The Bonello Foundation Inc. upon the
occasion of hosting its 1st Annual Gala on June 25,
2022

WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
recognize and acknowledge those organizations and individuals within our
midst who have made significant contributions to the quality of life
therein; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend The
Bonello Foundation Inc. upon the occasion of hosting its 1st Annual Gala
on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Garden House NYC in Brooklyn, New
York; and

WHEREAS, The funds raised from this event will be used towards
various upcoming community projects; and

WHEREAS, Founded by Stacey Bonello, The Bonello Foundation
specializes in creating events that uplift, empower and inspire the
community; and

WHEREAS, This non-profit organization serves men, women, and
children in various capacities such as mentorship programs, create
workshops, annual health fairs, toy drives, and free pop-up closets; and

WHEREAS, In addition, The Bonello Foundation provides nourishing
meals and groceries weekly to multiple locations, aids in community
cleanups, co-manages a local community garden in East New York, and
partners with other local gardens and organizations which provide
services to its underserved communities; and

WHEREAS, The success of The Bonello Foundation is in direct
correlation to the efforts of its staff, whose involvement is, and
always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled
enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all
endeavors on behalf of the institution and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend The Bonello Foundation Inc. upon the occasion of hosting its 1st
Annual Gala on June 25, 2022; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Stacey Bonello, Founder, The Bonello Foundation Inc.
