CONGRATULATING Ann Marie Hradek upon the occasion
of being inducted into the 28th Annual May W.
Newburger Women's Roll of Honor by the Town of North
Hempstead, in conjunction with the observance of
Women's History Month

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those women of achievement within this great Empire State
who have made strong contributions to their communities and who inspire
others through their model citizenship; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate Ann Marie Hradek upon the occasion of being inducted into
the 28th Annual May W. Newburger Women's Roll of Honor by the Town of
North Hempstead, in conjunction with the observance of Women's History
Month; and

WHEREAS, Since 1994, the Town of North Hempstead has honored women
who have made a contribution to their community, or have accomplished a
significant achievement through public or private efforts; Ann Marie
Hradek is one such woman; and

WHEREAS, Ann Marie Hradek has truly lived a life of service; she
graciously donates her time and energy to several worthy organizations
including Mommas House, This Is My SWAG Foundation, and the Mineola
School District's Growth Mindset initiative, which teaches the values of
living a growth mindset, the value of being a positive example to other
young people and the importance of being kind, generous and giving to
others; and

WHEREAS, During the Covid-19 pandemic, Ann Marie Hradek started her
own business, The Best You Life Coaching because she saw a need to help
others whose mental health was suffering during this isolating time; she
is also the co-owner of her family's butcher shop, Good 'N Tender Meats,
where she has implemented methods in order to better serve her clients
and keep them safe while enjoying a superlative product; and

WHEREAS, Throughout her life, Ann Marie Hradek has led by example,
teaching her sons, Richard and Frankie, about the importance of helping
others; through her many good deeds, they have followed in her path and
volunteer at Mommas House and help their neighbors with various tasks;
and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when
individuals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of the State of New York; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Ann Marie Hradek upon the occasion of being inducted into
the 28th Annual May W. Newburger Women's Roll of Honor by the Town of

North Hempstead, in conjunction with the observance of Women's History
Month; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Ann Marie Hradek.
