MOURNING the death of Frank Borello, distinguished
citizen and devoted member of his community

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to pay tribute to
citizens of the State of New York whose lifework and civic endeavor
served to enhance the quality of life in their communities and the great
State of New York; and

WHEREAS, Frank Borello of Bronx, New York, died on May 3, 2023 at
the age of 84; and

WHEREAS, Born on July 4, 1938, Frank Borello was the son of Anthony
and Mary Borello; and

WHEREAS, After valiantly serving in the United States Navy, Frank
Borello went on to have a career as a foreman with the Department of
Sanitation in New York City until his retirement; and

WHEREAS, Frank Borello distinguished himself in his profession and
by his sincere dedication and substantial contribution to the welfare of
his community; and

WHEREAS, An individual with many passions, Frank Borello loved
anything outdoors, especially golf, fishing, and boating; and

WHEREAS, Frank Borello was married to his wife, Ann, for a loving 44
years and is survived by one brother and many cousins, nieces, and
nephews; and

WHEREAS, Armed with a humanistic spirit and imbued with a sense of
compassion, Frank Borello leaves behind a legacy which will long endure
the passage of time and will remain as a comforting memory to all he
served and befriended; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
mourn the death of Frank Borello, distinguished citizen and devoted
member of his community; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the family of Frank Borello.
