COMMENDING Fraternity Lodge No. 126, Most
Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Free and
Accepted Masons of the State of New York upon the
occasion of hosting its 1st Annual Royal Blue &
White Affair

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those organizations of high purpose and worthy
accomplishment whose endeavors have faithfully served the welfare of the
citizens of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Fraternity Lodge No. 126, Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand
Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York upon the
occasion of hosting its 1st Annual Royal Blue & White Affair on
Saturday, June 17, 2023; and

WHEREAS, The dedicated Masons of Lodge No. 126 are men with a social
conscience and a charitable perspective, also known as Freemasons; it is
a fraternal organization that shares common moral ideals and esoteric
values and is based on the doctrine of Faith, Humility, Commitment and
Perseverance; and

WHEREAS, Led by Worshipful Master Dr. Franklin N. Caesar, Senior
Warden Joseph Waller and Junior Warden Gary Goodwin, the 12 brothers
Fraternity Lodge No. 126 began its journey to earn its Prince Hall
Charter on January 20, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Twenty-seven months later on June 3, 2022, Fraternity Lodge
No. 126 was the first lodge to be chartered by the Most Worshipful
Prince Hall Grand Lodge after the COVID-19 pandemic devastated the
entire world and created a "new normal"; and

WHEREAS, Unfortunately, Fraternity Lodge No. 126 suffered the loss
of one brother; as a result, "The Brother Hannibal Herring Scholarship"
was established in his honor and would be awarded to a deserving high
school senior; and

WHEREAS, The Masons of Fraternity Lodge No. 126 have truly
demonstrated continuous service to the residents and communities which
it serves; and

WHEREAS, The success of Lodge No. 126 is in direct correlation to
the efforts of Worshipful Master and its members, whose involvement is,
and always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an
unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in
all endeavors on behalf of the organization and the community it serves;
and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is proudly moved to honor and commend
the members of Fraternity Lodge No. 126, Most Worshipful Prince Hall
Grand Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, past and present, who have

labored so conscientiously to secure and improve the quality of life for
the community it serves; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Fraternity Lodge No. 126, Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand
Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York upon the
occasion of hosting its 1st Annual Royal Blue & White Affair; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Fraternity Lodge No. 126, Most Worshipful Prince Hall
Grand Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York.
