COMMEMORATING the 40th Anniversary of Kris-Tech
Wire of Rome, New York

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize
those businesses within the State of New York which contribute to the
economic health and vitality of the communities they serve; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Kris-Tech Wire of Rome, New York;
and

WHEREAS, In 1984, twin brothers Gerry and Glenn Brodock, both World
War II veterans turned industry leaders, founded Kris-Tech Wire with a
vision to revolutionize the copper wire industry; and

WHEREAS, Fast forward 40 years, and Kris-Tech Wire has evolved into
a national powerhouse, boasting a workforce of over 140 employees and
serving multiple industries from its headquarters on Otis Street in
Rome; its second location, Kris-Tech Gulf Coast, is located in Houston,
Texas; and

WHEREAS, Despite its substantial growth, Kris-Tech Wire remains
deeply rooted in its values as a family-owned business; and

WHEREAS, Community engagement has always been a priority, with the
company actively participating in local events and initiatives such as
Honor America Days and Rome Halloween celebrations; this commitment to
community building has become a hallmark of Kris-Tech's ethos; and

WHEREAS, In 2023, the company embarked on a significant expansion
project at its Griffiss Technology Park manufacturing facility; this
expansion will double Kris-Tech's footprint and pave the way for further
growth and innovation in the Rome community; and

WHEREAS, This year, in 2024, Kris-Tech Wire shows no signs of
slowing down; with plans to increase job opportunities, expand product
offerings, and unveil new initiatives, the company is poised for another
year of growth and success; and

WHEREAS, As Kris-Tech Wire celebrates its 40th anniversary, the
company remains grateful for the support of Rome and the Mohawk Valley,
reaffirming its commitment to contributing to the region's bright
future; and

WHEREAS, The success of Kris-Tech Wire is in direct correlation to
the efforts of its dedicated owners and staff, whose involvement is, and
always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled
enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all
endeavors on behalf of the business and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the

local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Kris-Tech Wire of Rome, New York;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Gerry and Glenn Brodock, Kris-Tech Wire, Rome, New York.
