COMMENDING The Craftsman Club of Corinthian Lodge
No. 44 upon the occasion of hosting its Annual
Widow's Breakfast, and honoring Worshipful Master
Kenny Thomas and the Most Worshipful Grand Master
Gregory R. Smith Jr. on April 7, 2024

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that
the quality and character of life in the communities across New York
State are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those
organizations and individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare
of the community and its citizenry; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend The Craftsman Club of Corinthian Lodge No. 44 upon the occasion
of hosting its Annual Widow's Breakfast, and honoring Worshipful Master
Kenny Thomas and the Most Worshipful Grand Master Gregory R. Smith Jr.
on Sunday, April 7, 2024, in Ossining, New York; and

WHEREAS, This auspicious event is held annually to honor and support
the widows of members who have ascended from their earthly masonic
journey, and remains a staple of the Lodge, not only of remembrance, but
of thanks to those who have passed on, giving respect to their beloved
partners who supported them in their journey and good community works;
and

WHEREAS, Craftsman Club of Corinthian Lodge No. 44, Most Worshipful
Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New York is renowned for its commitment to
the principles of freemasonry; and

WHEREAS, These principles compel its members to dispense charity
while maintaining integrity and honesty within the local community; the
belief in "God, Family, and Community" are the core values of this vital
organization and are near and dear to every member's heart; and

WHEREAS, Today, we acknowledge the good work of Worshipful Master
Kenny Thomas and the consistent drive towards excellence from Most
Worshipful Grand Master Gregory R. Smith Jr., as they continue
benevolent and charitable work in their tradition of carrying forward
the oath of a mason for all members now in the upper room; and

WHEREAS, The success of The Craftsman Club of Corinthian Lodge No.
44 is in direct correlation to the efforts of its Worshipful Master
Kenny Thomas and the Most Worshipful Grand Master Gregory R. Smith Jr.,
whose involvement is, and always has been, characterized by an
impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising
standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of the organization
and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that when
organizations and individuals of such noble aims and accomplishments are
brought to our attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by
all the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it


RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend The Craftsman Club of Corinthian Lodge No. 44 upon the occasion
of hosting its Annual Widow's Breakfast, and honoring Worshipful Master
Kenny Thomas and the Most Worshipful Grand Master Gregory R. Smith Jr.
on April 7, 2024; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to The Craftsman Club of Corinthian Lodge No. 44, Worshipful
Master Kenny Thomas, and the Most Worshipful Grand Master Gregory R.
Smith Jr.
