CONGRATULATING Maryann Williams-Walts upon the
occasion of her retirement after 37 years of
dedicated service as Manager of Oneida County
Federal Credit Union

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to acknowledge the
significant milestones in the distinguished careers of esteemed
residents of this noble Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate Maryann Williams-Walts upon the occasion of her retirement
after 37 years of dedicated service as Manager of Oneida County Federal
Credit Union; she will officially retire from this esteemed position on
June 5, 2024; and

WHEREAS, Under the able leadership of Maryann Williams-Walts, Oneida
County Federal Credit Union provides convenient and competitive
financial services to its members through professionalism and personal
attention; and

WHEREAS, As Manager of Oneida County Federal Credit Union for nearly
four decades, Maryann Williams-Walts served with loyalty, honor and
distinction, truly earning the admiration, affection and esteem of her
colleagues; and

WHEREAS, With her throughout have been her husband, David, a son,
Wayne, and two daughters, Michele and Carrie, all of whom feel
privileged to be a part of her life and rejoice in her many
achievements; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the occurrence of such a compassionate
blending of strength, leadership, intellect, and commitment as that
demonstrated by Maryann Williams-Walts over a lifetime of sacrifice and
dedication to others; and

WHEREAS, It has always been the objective of this Legislative Body
to honor and support those individuals who have displayed their
commitment to the betterment of their communities, and it is the intent
of this Legislative Body to inscribe upon its records, this tribute to
Maryann Williams-Walts, that future generations may know and appreciate
her admirable character, her many benevolent deeds, and the respect and
esteem in which she is held by her peers; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that when
individuals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of the great State of New York; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Maryann Williams-Walts upon the occasion of her retirement
after 37 years of dedicated service as Manager of Oneida County Federal

Credit Union, and to wish her continued success in all her future
endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Maryann Williams-Walts.
