MOURNING the death of Ronald B. Luposello, Sr.,
devoted family man, distinguished citizen, and
dedicated member of his community

WHEREAS, There are certain outstanding members of our community who,
through their selfless commitment and dedication, have served to better
the quality of life in our community and have had a measurable positive
impact on the lives of its residents; Ronald B. Luposello, Sr. was one
such individual; and

WHEREAS, It is with profound sorrow and deep regret that this
Legislative Body records the passing of Ronald B. Luposello, Sr., noting
the significance of his purposeful life and accomplishments; and

WHEREAS, Ronald B. Luposello, Sr., a lifelong resident of
Croton-on-Hudson, New York, died on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at the
age of 91; and

WHEREAS, Born on December 23, 1932, to Anthony and Jennie Luposello
in Ossining, New York, Ronald B. Luposello, Sr. was a devoted husband,
father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, grandfather, and in more
recent years, a great-grandfather; and

WHEREAS, Ronald B. Luposello, Sr. graduated from Croton Harmon High
School in 1950; that same year, he joined Harmon Engine Company No. 3 of
the Croton Fire Department where he was an active member for more than
20 years, and an over 50-year life member of the department; and

WHEREAS, Ronald B. Luposello, Sr. married the love of his life,
Emma, in 1959, at the Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton-on-Hudson, and
together they raised three children; the couple was married for 64
years, and were the proud grandparents of six grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Renowned locally by one of his most coveted titles, Owner
of Luposello's Garage, Ronald B. Luposello, Sr. worked shoulder to
shoulder with first his father, then his brothers, and for the past 40
years with his son, JR, up until almost the day of his passing; and

WHEREAS, This extraordinary man leaves behind a remarkable legacy,
and his impact on the local community will resonate for generations to
come; he dedicated more than eight decades of his life to keeping
community residents on the road through his work at the garage; his work
ethic was second to none, and his passion for his business was
intertwined with his passion for his family; and

WHEREAS, Predeceased by his parents and three of his four siblings,
Anthony "Sonny" (Sarah), Jean (Joe), and Alfred (Sandra), Ronald B.
Luposello, Sr. is survived by his beloved wife, Emma; his sister,
Bernice; three children, Linda (Chris), Susan (Pat), and Ronald Jr.
(Staci); six grandchildren, Lauren, Marissa (Mike), Lindsey, Katie,
Danielle, and Michael; and two great-grandchildren, Gia and Addison; and

WHEREAS, Ronald B. Luposello's infinite selflessness and benevolence
will shine on through his family's vivid and happy memories; his insight
and strength will forever serve as a beacon of love, light and hope to
the countless lives he touched; and

WHEREAS, Armed with a humanistic spirit and imbued with a sense of
compassion, Ronald B. Luposello, Sr. leaves behind a legacy which will
long endure the passage of time and will remain as a comforting memory
to all who were privileged to have known and loved such an amazing man;
he will be deeply missed and truly merits the grateful tribute of this
Legislative Body; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
mourn the death of Ronald B. Luposello, Sr., and to express its deepest
condolences to his family; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the family of Ronald B. Luposello, Sr.
