HONORING Tiffany and Al Palagonia upon the
occasion of their designation for special
recognition by the Greenville Baker Boys & Girls
Club on May 31, 2024

WHEREAS, The unity of our State and Nation is built upon the
compassion of individuals such as Tiffany and Al Palagonia who uphold
the values of community life and who, through their great actions,
epitomize the best of humanity; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Tiffany and
Al Palagonia upon the occasion of their designation for special
recognition by the Greenville Baker Boys & Girls Club to be celebrated
at its 74th Annual Gala on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the Creek Club in
Locust Valley, New York; and

WHEREAS, Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club is a local affiliate of
Boys & Girls Clubs of America, a national organization dedicated to
inspiring and enabling all young people to realize their potential as
productive, responsible, and caring citizens and community leaders of
tomorrow; and

WHEREAS, Tiffany and Al Palagonia, residents of the North Shore
since 2008, have been called upon to contribute their time, resources
and expertise to countless civic and charitable endeavors, including the
Greenville Baker Boys & Girls Club, and have always given of themselves
unstintingly; and

WHEREAS, As principals of Apollo Jets, the largest private charter
brokerage in the United States, Tiffany and Al Palagonia remain humble
and grounded with their friends and their community; their devotion to
helping others is contagious as they encourage their children, family,
and friends to get involved by volunteering, supporting and hosting
special events such as the 3 on 3 basketball tournament; and

WHEREAS, Tiffany and Al Palagonia love spending time out east with
their family, traveling, good food, and the New York Knicks; their love
is apparent in all they do; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Tiffany and Al Palagonia have
displayed throughout their lives; and

WHEREAS, It has always been the objective of this Legislative Body
to honor and support those individuals who have displayed their
commitment to the betterment of their communities, and it is the intent
of this Legislative Body to inscribe upon its records, this tribute to
Tiffany and Al Palagonia, that future generations may know and
appreciate their admirable character, their many benevolent deeds, and
the respect and esteem in which they are held by their peers; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Tiffany and Al Palagonia upon the occasion of their designation
for special recognition by the Greenville Baker Boys & Girls Club on May
31, 2024; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Tiffany and Al Palagonia.
