COMMENDING the Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand
Chapter of Holy Royal Arch Masons of the State of
New York and Jurisdiction upon the occasion of
hosting its 152nd Annual Grand Convocation on
October 4, 2024
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those organizations of high purpose and worthy
accomplishment whose endeavors have faithfully served the welfare of the
citizens of the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend the Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Holy Royal Arch
Masons of the State of New York & Jurisdiction upon the occasion of
hosting its 152nd Annual Grand Convocation on Friday, October 4, 2024,
at the Crowne Plaza, Albany, New York; and
WHEREAS, Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Holy Royal Arch
Masons (MEPHGCHRAM) of the State of New York and Jurisdiction is the
philanthropy arm of The Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Holy
Royal Arch Masons; and
WHEREAS, With more than 500 volunteer members, the Most Excellent
Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Holy Royal Arch Masons of the State of New
York serves the homeless, hungry, and the countless local families faced
with danger while living on the street; and
WHEREAS, Furthermore, this vital organization assists disabled
veterans, provides scholarships, and provides for the local community
based on its needs; and
WHEREAS, Remaining true to its mission, the Most Excellent Prince
Hall Grand Chapter of Holy Royal Arch Masons of the State of New York
disburses charity and creates viable community development programs as a
pro-active means of combating many of the socio-economic issues facing
the communities it serves; and
WHEREAS, The Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Holy Royal
Arch Masons of the State of New York also seeks collaborative
partnerships with the various social, civic and faith-based programs in
the community, fostering lasting relationships that will translate into
positive and significant changes in the condition of individuals,
families and our neighborhoods; and
WHEREAS, The success of the Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter
of Holy Royal Arch Masons of the State of New York is in direct
correlation to the efforts of its dedicated members and the Most
Excellent Rex H. Garret Grand High Priest, whose involvement is, and
always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled
enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all
endeavors on behalf of the organization and the community it serves; and
WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion presents an opportunity for this
Legislative Body to recognize and pay tribute to the Most Excellent
Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Holy Royal Arch Masons of the State of New
York; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is proudly moved to honor and commend
the members of the Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Holy
Royal Arch Masons of the State of New York and Jurisdiction, past and
present, who have labored so conscientiously to secure and improve the
quality of life for the community it serves; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend the Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Holy Royal Arch
Masons of the State of New York and Jurisdiction upon the occasion of
hosting its 152nd Annual Grand Convocation on October 4, 2024; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Holy
Royal Arch Masons of the State of New York and Jurisdiction.
