COMMENDING Anheuser-Busch of Baldwinsville, New
York, upon the occasion of celebrating its 40th
Anniversary

WHEREAS, It is the intent of this Legislative Body to recognize and
celebrate the achievements of those individuals and businesses that
substantially contribute to the economic vitality of their communities
and the entire Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Anheuser-Busch of Baldwinsville, New York, upon the occasion of
celebrating its 40th Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Opened in 1983, Anheuser-Busch's Baldwinsville brewery is
the largest brewery in New York, employing more than 500 employees and
contributing to the more than 108,000 jobs and $21 billion in economic
output the beer industry in New York creates; and

WHEREAS, The Baldwinsville brewery is known for the key role it
plays in developing new innovations; the team at Baldwinsville leads the
production of more than 92 iconic brands, including Budweiser, Bud
Light, and Michelob ULTRA; and

WHEREAS, As part of its commitment to building a better world, the
brewery's off-site solar installation provides an additional three
million kilowatt-hours back to the distribution grid annually, providing
enough solar electricity to brew over three million cases of beverages a
year; and

WHEREAS, Anheuser-Busch in Baldwinsville has been a proud partner to
the communities of Central New York and has been a significant driver of
the region's economy for over 40 years; and

WHEREAS, The success of Anheuser-Busch in Baldwinsville is in direct
correlation to the efforts of its leadership and staff, whose
involvement is, and always has been, characterized by an impressive
commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of
excellence in all endeavors on behalf of the institution and the
community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Anheuser-Busch of Baldwinsville, New York, upon the occasion of
celebrating its 40th Anniversary; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Anheuser-Busch of Baldwinsville, New York.
