HONORING Brandon Sutton upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the Young Entrepreneur
of the Year Award by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce on March 21, 2024

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those distinguished citizens who would devote their life's work
and purpose to community service, contributing to the welfare of the
citizens of their communities and this great Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Brandon Sutton upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce, to be celebrated at its Annual Awards Gala on Thursday, March
21, 2024, at Samuel's Grande Manor in Clarence, New York; and

WHEREAS, Brandon Sutton was nominated for this prestigious award for
his steadfast and unremitting commitment to his beloved community of
Clarence Center, New York; and

WHEREAS, A dynamic entrepreneur, Brandon Sutton is the driving force
behind Sutton Paving & Excavation Inc., an innovative company that is
looking to revolutionize the paving and excavation industry; with a rich
family history deeply rooted in the asphalt sector, his commitment to
excellence and meticulous attention to detail laid the foundation for
his company's establishment in 2017; and

WHEREAS, Having college experience in mechanical engineering,
Brandon Sutton brings a unique perspective to his leadership style;
Sutton Paving has risen to industry leadership, transitioning from
residential driveway services to an exclusive concentration on
large-scale commercial projects, and earning distinctions for
reliability and a dedicated commitment to innovation; and

WHEREAS, Deeply committed to community service, Brandon Sutton has
served as an advanced emergency medical technician and a firefighter;
his heroism, acknowledged with the State's highest award for
resuscitating a Clarence resident in 2018, complements his pursuit of
excellence; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Brandon Sutton upon the occasion of his designation as recipient
of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce on March 21, 2024; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Brandon Sutton.
