CONGRATULATING Valentina C. Aguilar upon the
occasion of being named the 2025 Youth of the Year
by the Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor the youth
of today, and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and achievements best
exemplify the ideals and values cherished by this great State and
Nation; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate Valentina C. Aguilar upon the occasion of being named the
2025 Youth of the Year by the Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club; and

WHEREAS, Each year since 1947, Boys & Girls Clubs of America has
selected members for this honor who embody the values of leadership,
community service, academic excellence and good character; Valentina C.
Aguilar truly exemplifies those qualities; and

WHEREAS, A member of the organization since elementary school,
Valentina C. Aguilar has greatly benefited from the Grenville Baker Boys
& Girls Club which has enabled her to reach her full potential as a
productive, caring, responsible citizen; and

WHEREAS, Valentina C. Aguilar credits the Boys & Girls Club for
helping her shape into the person she is today, and for giving her the
freedom to be herself at a place that feels like home; and

WHEREAS, As Youth of the Year, Valentina C. Aguilar will take on
additional responsibilities, including serving as president of Grenville
Baker's Keystone Club, acting as a role model for other club kids, and
attending public events such as the Donor Recognition Reception, Banquet
of Champions, and golf outings; and

WHEREAS, Poised eagerly with enthusiasm and determined purpose, this
young woman now stands honorably, with just pride in her accomplishments
and in eager anticipation of future challenges, understanding and
appreciating the caring counsel and support provided by the Grenville
Baker Boys & Girls Club and her family; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Valentina C. Aguilar upon the occasion of being named the
2025 Youth of the Year by the Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club; and be
it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Valentina C. Aguilar.
