COMMEMORATING the Annual Temple Ball Weekend
hosted by Elejmal Temple No. 185 and honoring
Illustrious Potentate Jonathan Greene

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those longstanding fraternal institutions that promote
leadership, service, and cultural unity within communities across New
York State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
traditions, this Legislative Body is proud to commemorate the Annual
Temple Ball Weekend hosted by Elejmal Temple No. 185, Ancient Egyptian
Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine of North and South America and Its
Jurisdictions, Inc., to be held July 18-20, 2025; and

WHEREAS, This weekend celebration is a cherished tradition within
the Shrinedom, symbolizing the Temple's steadfast dedication to
brotherhood, philanthropy, and outstanding community service; and

WHEREAS, The 2025 Temple Ball Weekend will be held in tribute to
Illustrious Potentate Jonathan Greene, a distinguished and visionary
leader whose service, integrity, and dedication have strengthened the
mission and reach of Elejmal Temple No. 185; and

WHEREAS, Illustrious Potentate Greene has exemplified the highest
tenets of Prince Hall Shrinedom, guiding the Temple with purpose,
expanding its community impact, and inspiring Nobles to uphold the noble
traditions of compassion, discipline, and unity; and

WHEREAS, Under his stewardship, Elejmal Temple No. 185 has continued
to flourish in civic engagement and philanthropic outreach, standing as
a pillar of strength within the Desert of New York and the greater
community it serves; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body commends both Elejmal Temple No. 185
and Illustrious Potentate Greene for their exceptional leadership and
longstanding commitment to uplifting communities through service,
brotherhood, and cultural pride; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the Elejmal Temple No. 185 Annual Temple Ball Weekend, to be
held July 18-20, 2025, and to honor Illustrious Potentate Jonathan
Greene for his exemplary leadership and continued service to the people
of New York; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Elejmal Temple No. 185 and Illustrious Potentate Jonathan
Greene in recognition of this meaningful occasion.
