HONORING Officer Lisa T. Pearsall upon the
occasion of her designation as recipient of a
Distinguished Service Award by the Town of New
Berlin Police Department on June 12, 2025

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that
the quality and character of life in the communities across New York
State are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those
individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare of the community
and its citizenry; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Officer Lisa T. Pearsall upon the occasion of her designation as
recipient of a Distinguished Service Award by the Town of New Berlin
Police Department on June 12, 2025; she will be recognized at the
department's Law Enforcement Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 12, 2025,
at the New Berlin Chobani Community Center in New Berlin, New York; and

WHEREAS, Prior to joining the Town of New Berlin Police Department,
Officer Lisa T. Pearsall dedicated 13 years of service to the Army
National Guard as a Military Police Officer; and

WHEREAS, Beginning her tenure with the Town of New Berlin Police
Department in 2022, Officer Lisa T. Pearsall has since proved her
dedication to upholding the valued tenets of law enforcement, always
serving the people of her community with diligence, respect, and grace;
and

WHEREAS, Officer Lisa T. Pearsall's unwavering commitment to duty
and the fundamental values of public service are evident in her work;
whether she is working to address quality of life complaints or
conducting felony investigations, this esteemed honoree reliably
demonstrates her dedication to upstanding work in all her professional
endeavors; and

WHEREAS, Officer Lisa T. Pearsall's passion for community, family,
and sustainability has left an indelible mark on the Town of New Berlin
and the countless individuals that her selfless, passionate, and hard
work has impacted; and

WHEREAS, For her impressive and invaluable service, Officer Lisa T.
Pearsall is also being honored as the 2024 Officer of the Year by
High-Street Gates Cole Insurance-a greatly revered dsitinction; and

WHEREAS, Within every community, there are inevitably some
individuals who, by virtue of their energy, vision, and dedication,
command the greatest respect among their peers, colleagues, and
community at large; Officer Lisa T. Pearsall is one such individual; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to commend
individuals of outstanding character who have shown initiative and
commitment toward constantly pursuing the highest standards of service,

acting as role models of leadership to be emulated by both peers and
youth alike; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Officer Lisa T. Pearsall upon the occasion of her designation as
recipient of a Distinguished Service Award by the Town of New Berlin
Police Department on June 12, 2025; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Officer Lisa T. Pearsall.
