HONORING One Girl Inc. upon the occasion of
hosting its Inaugural Icon Awards Luncheon Benefit
to be held on June 18, 2025

WHEREAS, It is the esteemed practice of this Legislative Body to
recognize and commend organizations whose unwavering commitment to
empowerment, innovation, and community advancement significantly
enriches the cultural and social fabric of New York State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is proud to honor One
Girl Inc. upon the occasion of hosting its Inaugural Icon Awards
Luncheon Benefit, to be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025; and

WHEREAS, This distinguished event will pay homage to exemplary and
innovative women of the past, present, and future-true groundbreakers in
their respective fields-who have made their mark on yesterday and today,
and who will change the course of our future for the better, embodying
the ideals One Girl Inc. holds dear; and

WHEREAS, Since its inception, One Girl Inc. has been dedicated to
uplifting and empowering women and girls through initiatives that
promote leadership, education, and social impact, fostering a community
where every girl can realize her full potential; and

WHEREAS, The Inaugural Icon Awards Luncheon Benefit represents not
only a celebration of individual achievements but also a testament to
the collective strength and resilience of women who inspire change and
drive progress in their communities and beyond; and

WHEREAS, It is fitting that this Legislative Body recognize and
commend One Girl Inc. for its unwavering dedication to fostering
empowerment, celebrating excellence, and building a more inclusive and
equitable society; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor One Girl Inc. upon the occasion of its Inaugural Icon Awards
Luncheon Benefit, and to extend its highest commendation and best wishes
for continued success in its vital mission; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to One Girl Inc.
