MOURNING the death of Xavier M. Egger,
distinguished citizen and devoted member of his
community

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to pay tribute to
citizens of the State of New York whose lifework and civic endeavors
served to enhance the quality of life in their communities and the great
State of New York; and

WHEREAS, Xavier M. Egger, of Stony Point, New York, died on
Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the age of 19; and

WHEREAS, Xavier M. Egger was born on May 31, 2005; he was a United
States Army veteran and volunteer firefighter; and

WHEREAS, This caring and kind young man will be immensely missed by
all who were fortunate to know him and have him in their lives, albeit
for such a short time; for the upstanding person he was, Xavier M. Egger
is due respect and appreciation from his fellow New Yorkers; and

WHEREAS, Armed with a humanistic spirit and imbued with a sense of
compassion, Xavier M. Egger leaves behind a legacy which will long
endure the passage of time and will remain as a comforting memory to all
he served and befriended; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
mourn the death of Xavier M. Egger; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the family of Xavier M. Egger.
