COMMEMORATING the 10th Anniversary of the Woodland
Farm Brewery

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing the economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Woodland Farm Brewery to be
celebrated during its Woodland 10-Year Anniversary Weekend at the Remsen
Social Club in Utica, New York, on Friday, January 9-Sunday, January 11,
2026; and

WHEREAS, In 2015, the Woodland Farm Brewery was established in
Utica, New York; the Brewery has a focus on lagers, barrel-aged beers,
and everything in between, resulting in a wide range of beers, hard
ciders, wines, and mixed drinks; and

WHEREAS, Woodland Farm Brewery's kitchen offers pub fare, including
burgers, paninis, flatbread pizzas, and the beloved "Tot Waffle"; the
menu focuses on fresh, quality, and locally-sourced ingredients; and

WHEREAS, Besides beer, the Brewery provides New York State hard
ciders, wines, and spirits; craft cocktails are featured seasonally, and
the popular adult root beer float is also available; and

WHEREAS, With a 10-barrel brewhouse, the Woodland Farm Brewery
produces fresh, new batches regularly; patience and time are extra
ingredients in making beer; the barrel-aged beers spend from one to
three years developing before they are ready to be shared, and many of
the barrels are sourced from New York State distilleries, wineries, and
cooperages, several of which have won awards across New York State and
the United States; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Woodland Farm Brewery are characterized
by an impressive commitment, unbridled enthusiasm, and excellence in
their craft; and

WHEREAS, It is with immense pride that the hard-working and
dedicated members, including owner, Keith Redhead, of the Woodland Farm
Brewery celebrate this milestone 10th Anniversary and anticipate
continued success; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Woodland Farm Brewery; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the Woodland Farm Brewery.
