HONORING Alexis "Lexi" Varecka of Flex Yoga
Buffalo upon the occasion of her designation as
Emerging Entrepreneur by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce, to be celebrated on March 19, 2026

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
honor those outstanding individuals whose commitment, dedication, and
service contribute significantly to the vitality and well-being of the
communities of New York State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Alexis "Lexi" Varecka of Flex Yoga Buffalo upon the occasion of her
designation as Emerging Entrepreneur by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce, to be celebrated at its 53rd Annual Awards Gala on Thursday,
March 19, 2026, at Samuel's Grande Manor in Williamsville, New York; and

WHEREAS, Alexis Varecka is the founder of Flex Yoga Buffalo, a
community-centered yoga studio in Clarence, New York, that is dedicated
to creating a safe space where people can slow down, reconnect with
themselves, and leave feeling grounded, balanced, and connected; and

WHEREAS, Originally from Clarence, New York, Alexis Varecka has
always had a passion for yoga, movement, community, and wellbeing, which
inspired her to open a studio of her own; and

WHEREAS, In 2019, Alexis Varecka earned her 200-hour Registered Yoga
Teacher (RYT) certification from CorePower Yoga in Georgetown,
Washington, D.C., she then continued developing her expertise by
participating in a 300-hour training in Los Angeles, California, and she
is now a 500-hour RYT; and

WHEREAS, Alexis Varecka's teaching is informed by experience and
authenticity, and she specializes in hot power fusion, which is a
dynamic blend of 26+2 and power yoga; at the core of her teaching
philosophy is her desire to make yoga approachable for all individuals
at all levels; and

WHEREAS, In 2024, Alexis Varecka left California to move back to
Clarence, New York, and in 2025 she decided to open Flex Yoga Buffalo
across from Clarence High School, where she is surrounded by local small
businesses; and

WHEREAS, Founded and operated upon Alexis Varecka's vision, Flex
Yoga Buffalo has become a welcoming hub for movement, mindfulness, and
meaningful connection in Clarence, New York, and all who have visited
her studio can attest to feeling seen, supported, and inspired; and

WHEREAS, The Clarence Chamber of Commerce's recognition of Alexis
Varecka as Emerging Entrepreneur is a fitting tribute to an individual
whose innovation and service has strengthened the Clarence community and
enriched the lives of countless individuals and families; now,
therefore, be it


RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Alexis "Lexi" Varecka of Flex Yoga Buffalo upon the occasion of
her designation as Emerging Entrepreneur by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce on March 19, 2026; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Alexis "Lexi" Varecka of Flex Yoga Buffalo.
