HONORING the International Pentecostal City
Mission Food Program upon the occasion of its 25th
Anniversary Gala on February 7, 2026

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to faith-based institutions whose enduring commitment to
spiritual leadership, compassionate service, and community uplift has
strengthened the social and moral fabric of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, In keeping with this proud tradition, this Legislative Body
is honored to commemorate the International Pentecostal City Mission
Food Program upon the occasion of its 25th Anniversary Gala to be held
on Saturday, February 7, 2026, marking a quarter of a century of
faithful ministry and service; and

WHEREAS, Founded to meet both the spiritual and practical needs of
the community of Brooklyn, New York, the International Pentecostal City
Mission has served as a beacon of hope, worship, and restoration,
providing a welcoming space for prayer, fellowship, Biblical teaching,
and outreach rooted in Pentecostal faith and Christian compassion; and

WHEREAS, For 25 years, the Mission has remained steadfast in its
commitment to evangelism, discipleship, and community service, uplifting
individuals and families through spiritual guidance, charitable
initiatives, and programs designed to promote dignity, healing, and
empowerment; and

WHEREAS, The growth and impact of the International Pentecostal City
Mission Food Program are due, in large measure, to the visionary and
devoted leadership of Bishop Petrona Reid whose faith, perseverance, and
servant leadership have guided the Mission with clarity of purpose,
pastoral care, and an unwavering commitment to Christian work; and

WHEREAS, Under Bishop Reid's leadership, the Mission has continued
to expand its reach, strengthen its ministry, and foster a faith
community grounded in worship, service, and love, leaving a lasting and
positive imprint on the lives of countless congregants and community
members; and

WHEREAS, The 25th Anniversary Gala stands as a moment of reflection,
gratitude, and celebration, honoring the Program's past accomplishments
while reaffirming its commitment to continued spiritual growth, service,
and impact for generations to come; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor and commend the International Pentecostal City Mission Food
Program upon the occasion of its 25th Anniversary Gala, to be held
February 7, 2026, and to extend best wishes for continued strength,
growth, and faithful service; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Bishop Petrona Reid and the leadership and congregation

of the International Pentecostal City Mission as a lasting expression of
the respect and appreciation of this Legislative Body.
