COMMEMORATING the 90th Anniversary of Fred F.
Collis & Sons

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognizing the
achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing the economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 90th Anniversary of Fred F. Collis & Sons, to be
celebrated in 2026; and

WHEREAS, In 1936, Fred F. Collis founded Fred F. Collis & Sons in
his backyard in Utica, New York; at its inception, the business only
offered oil delivery and furnace/pop heater repairs to the local
community; and

WHEREAS, 90 years after its inception, Fred F. Collis & Sons is now
a third generation, family-owned and operated business serving the
Central New York and Mohawk Valley communities; and

WHEREAS, Fred F. Collis & Sons now offers an expansive variety of
services to improve comfort within a home, and they do work relating to
heating systems, air conditioning, indoor air quality, insulation, oil
delivery, water heaters, plumbing, and many other HVAC-related services;
and

WHEREAS, Operating out of offices in Yorkville and Syracuse, New
York, Fred F. Collis & Sons is able to respond to requests and inquiries
quickly and efficiently, ensuring customer issues are resolved before
further complications and discomfort arise; and

WHEREAS, Employees of Fred F. Collis & Sons are highly trained,
licensed, uniformed, and professional; together, all employees of Fred
F. Collis & Sons are committed to treating each home they service as if
it were their own; and

WHEREAS, The staff's involvement is, and always has been,
characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and
an uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of
the business and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 90th Anniversary of Fred F. Collis & Sons, to be
celebrated in 2026; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Fred F. Collis & Sons.
