CONGRATULATING Bryanna Hoang upon the occasion of
receiving the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout, the
most prestigious of Scouting honors

WHEREAS, Bryanna Hoang, through her diligence and rigorous efforts,
has achieved Scouting's highest and most prestigious rank, Eagle Scout;
the Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony will be held at St. Edward the
Confessor Church in Syosset, New York, on Saturday, March 28, 2026; and

WHEREAS, Bryanna Hoang, of Old Bethpage, is a member of Scouting
America Troop 205 in Syosset, New York; and

WHEREAS, America has achieved her greatest heights of glory through
the dedication, determination, and tireless efforts of the outstanding
citizens of this Nation; and

WHEREAS, It is only with the continued diligence and devotion of our
youth, tomorrow's leaders, that America will maintain her glory; and

WHEREAS, Scouting America and its members are dedicated to the
development of character and leadership in the youth of this Nation; and

WHEREAS, The highest achievement of leadership in Scouting is the
distinguished rank of Eagle Scout; and

WHEREAS, Bryanna Hoang has been involved in Scouting for many years,
has lived up to Scouting's ideals, and has attained all the necessary
achievements, including completion of a community service project, which
was successfully planned, developed, and executed; she officially became
an Eagle Scout on January 6, 2026; and

WHEREAS, Bryanna Hoang contributed her time and hard work to
complete her project for West Hills County Park; and

WHEREAS, For her Eagle Scout project, Bryanna Hoang designed and
constructed an obstacle course to benefit the local community; the
project involved building five new obstacles, including a rock wall,
teeter-totter, balance beam, stepping logs, and quintuple steps, as well
as restoring existing features to improve safety and accessibility; and

WHEREAS, Additionally, Bryanna Hoang cleared hazardous and overgrown
areas, transforming the course into a safe, engaging, and welcoming
space for families, Scouts, and visitors of all ages and affording them
the opportunity to enjoy outdoor recreation, develop skills, and
strengthen their connection to nature; she undertook efforts to restore
and revitalize the area with a focus on public safety, accessibility,
and long-term usability while preserving the park's natural character;
and

WHEREAS, The successful execution of this project required extensive
planning, leadership, and coordination of volunteers; and

WHEREAS, Bryanna Hoang's perseverance in rising through the ranks to
Eagle Scout is a strong indication of her ability to master difficult
tasks; her accomplishment will enable her to emerge as a leader, fully
equipped to meet the challenges of today's complex society; and

WHEREAS, Bryanna Hoang's dedication to the enhancement of West Hills
County Park is represented through her devotion to community and
commitment to others; and

WHEREAS, This new Eagle Scout is a credit to her family, her school,
her community, her State, and her Nation; undoubtedly, her future will
be filled with accomplishments of equal importance; now, therefore, be
it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations, in
recognition of the significance of this meritorious achievement, to
congratulate and honor Bryanna Hoang on achieving the rank of Eagle
Scout; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Bryanna Hoang.
