HONORING Andrew Sepcie upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the Chairperson's Award
by the North Country Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing the economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Andrew Sepcie upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
Chairperson's Award by the North Country Chamber of Commerce, celebrated
at its 114th Annual Awards Dinner on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the
Warren Ballroom at SUNY Plattsburgh; and

WHEREAS, Each year, the Chairperson's Award is presented to the
North Country Chamber of Commerce's outgoing chairperson for their
unwavering commitment to their community through their impactful and
faithful service with the chamber; and

WHEREAS, Andrew Sepcie, the 2025 chair of the North Country Chamber
of Commerce, worked diligently meeting with companies and organizations
in his community, as well as attending business grand openings and
economic development forums; and

WHEREAS, Throughout his illustrious tenure as chair, Andrew Sepcie
worked alongside his colleagues to help local stores secure funding and
aided businesses in receiving the necessary support and recognition from
state government to help his community prosper; and

WHEREAS, In his esteemed role, Andrew Sepcie had the privilege of
attending the Consulate General of Canda in New York's reception,
showcasing the importance and honor that comes with the role of chair;
and

WHEREAS, Businesses and their impactful leaders that give of their
time and energies to serve the best interests of their communities are
an asset beyond remuneration and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional leader and his contributions to his local
and State economies and communities, fully confident that he will
continue to enjoy the sparkling successes he has experienced thus far;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Andrew Sepcie upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
the Chairperson's Award by the North Country Chamber of Commerce; and be
it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Andrew Sepcie.
