HONORING DELLA Auto Group upon the occasion of its
designation as recipient of the 2026 Business of the
Year Award

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing the economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
DELLA Auto Group upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of
the 2026 Business of the Year Award by the North Country Chamber of
Commerce at its 114th Annual Awards Dinner on Friday, January 30, 2026,
at the Warren Ballroom at SUNY Plattsburgh; and

WHEREAS, Founded in 1983 by Michael Della Bella Sr. and his wife,
Carmen, DELLA Auto Group has grown from a family-founded enterprise into
a cornerstone of the North Country economy, reflecting decades of
dedicated investment in people, community, and regional economic
development; and

WHEREAS, Now led by the second generation of the Della Bella
family-siblings Michael Jr., Christopher, Anthony, and Kiara Della
Bella-the company continues to exemplify the enduring values of family
leadership, entrepreneurship, and community commitment; and

WHEREAS, Over the years, DELLA Auto Group has expanded to include
seven dealerships throughout the North Country, with Plattsburgh serving
as a major hub featuring Kia, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Polaris Motor
Sports, Subaru, and Chevrolet locations, as well as a full-service
center; and

WHEREAS, DELLA Auto Group is a major economic force in the region,
representing a total investment of many millions of dollars and
providing employment to more than 375 individuals, including over 200
residents who live and work in Clinton County; and

WHEREAS, Through its growth and sustained success, DELLA Auto Group
has played a significant role in strengthening the regional economy
while maintaining a steadfast dedication to community engagement and
charitable support; and

WHEREAS, The company supports numerous local and regional
organizations, including United Way, CV-TEC, CVPH, SUNY Plattsburgh,
Chazy Youth Hockey, the Plattsburgh YMCA, the Salvation Army, JCEO, the
Clinton County Fair, the North Country SPCA, and the North Country
Chamber of Commerce, among many others; and

WHEREAS, The recognition of DELLA Auto Group as the 2026 Business of
the Year underscores its reputation as a leading employer, responsible
corporate citizen, and respected family-owned enterprise whose

contributions enhance the quality of life throughout the North Country;
and

WHEREAS, Furthermore, the success of DELLA Auto Group stands as a
testament to the vision of its founders, the leadership of the Della
Bella family, and the dedication of its management and employees, all of
whom share in this well-deserved honor; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor DELLA Auto Group upon the occasion of its designation as recipient
of the 2026 Business of the Year Award by the North Country Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to DELLA Auto Group.
