COMMENDING Spring Forward Hope for Pink upon the
occasion of hosting its Pink & Pearls Brunch: Pearls
& Bows Edition on April 12, 2026

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
honor organizations whose tireless efforts uplift communities, promote
health and wellness, and empower individuals to thrive, ensuring that
strength, hope, and resilience are nurtured across every stage of life;
and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Spring Forward Hope for Pink upon the occasion of hosting its
Pink & Pearls Brunch: Pearls & Bows Edition on Sunday, April 12, 2026;
this distinguished event celebrates women, fosters wellness, and
inspires connection, reflection, and hope; and

WHEREAS, Spring Forward Hope for Pink is a nonprofit organization
dedicated to supporting and empowering women who are navigating the
challenges of breast cancer by providing guidance, resources, and
education to ensure that no woman faces this journey alone; and

WHEREAS, Under the visionary leadership of Founder and Executive
Director Cynthia Jean, Spring Forward Hope for Pink has become a beacon
of advocacy, education, and empowerment, raising awareness about breast
health, promoting early detection, and offering holistic support to
strengthen both mind and body; and

WHEREAS, The Pink & Pearls Brunch: Pearls & Bows Edition creates a
space of elegance, community, and celebration, featuring inspiring
speakers, meaningful connections, and a powerful expression of
sisterhood while reinforcing the organization's commitment to wellness,
resilience, and shared empowerment; and

WHEREAS, Through its programming, fundraising initiatives, and
outreach, Spring Forward Hope for Pink demonstrates the profound impact
of compassionate leadership, community solidarity, and intentional
service in promoting health equity and uplifting women and families
throughout Brooklyn and beyond; and

WHEREAS, This annual gathering not only celebrates survival,
strength, and hope but also highlights the importance of education,
self-care, and collective action in building a supportive and empowered
community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Spring Forward Hope for Pink, upon the occasion of hosting its
Pink & Pearls Brunch: Pearls & Bows Edition, and to extend heartfelt
appreciation to Founder and Executive Director Cynthia Jean, as well as
all organizers, participants, and supporters, for their dedication to
health, empowerment, and community uplift; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Cynthia Jean and Spring Forward Hope for Pink in
recognition of their exemplary service, inspiring leadership, and
enduring impact.
