HONORING Past Grand Worthy Patron William A. Dyson
II for his recognition at the Lewis Hayden Chapter
No. 47 "Splash of Green" Community Service Awards
Banquet

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those distinguished individuals whose lives exemplify the
highest ideals of leadership, service, and fraternal commitment; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Past Grand Worthy Patron William A. Dyson II for his recognition at the
Lewis Hayden Chapter No. 47 "Splash of Green" Community Service Awards
Banquet to be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026; and

WHEREAS, A devoted member of the Prince Hall Masonic family, Past
Grand Worthy Patron William A. Dyson II has rendered exemplary service
to the Prince Hall Order of the Eastern Star, demonstrating steadfast
dedication to its guiding principles of Charity, Truth, and Loving
Kindness; and

WHEREAS, Having attained the esteemed rank of Past Grand Worthy
Patron, William A. Dyson II has distinguished himself through visionary
leadership, faithful stewardship, and a deep commitment to the growth
and stability of the Order, inspiring all who labor alongside him; and

WHEREAS, In his service, William A. Dyson II has worked to
strengthen the bonds of the Eastern Star, uplift its members, and ensure
that its mission of benevolence and community engagement continues to
flourish for generations to come; and

WHEREAS, William A. Dyson's contributions reflect not only a
devotion to fraternal excellence but also a broader commitment to the
uplift of humanity, embodying the timeless virtues upon which Prince
Hall Affiliated bodies are founded; and

WHEREAS, It is fitting and proper that such a distinguished
individual be recognized and celebrated by this Legislative Body on this
special occasion; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Past Grand Worthy Patron William A. Dyson II for his outstanding
service, leadership, and enduring contributions to the Prince Hall Order
of the Eastern Star and the community at large; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Past Grand Worthy Patron William A. Dyson II.
