COMMEMORATING the 50th Anniversary of Sparky's
Diner, a landmark of hospitality and a staple of the
Rockland County business community

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those long-standing family businesses which contribute
to the economic health and social vitality of the communities they
serve; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Sparky's Diner; and

WHEREAS, Since its founding in 1976, Sparky's Diner has been more
than just a place of business; it has served as a quintessential "home
away from home" for generations of Rockland County residents, offering a
warm atmosphere and a gathering place for friends and families; and

WHEREAS, For half a century, Sparky's Diner has navigated the
evolving landscape of the culinary industry with resilience and grace,
maintaining a reputation for quality service and a deep commitment to
its loyal patrons; and

WHEREAS, The success of Sparky's Diner is possible due to the
commitment and effort of its owners and staff throughout the last 50
years; without their hard work, Sparky's Diner would not be the
cherished community staple it is today; and

WHEREAS, Small businesses like Sparky's Diner are the backbone of
our State's economy, and their longevity is a testament to the hard
work, sacrifice, and commitment of their owners and staff; and

WHEREAS, It is with immense pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this significant milestone, recognizing Sparky's Diner's
enduring contribution to the character and spirit of the community; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate the owners, management, and staff of Sparky's Diner on its
50th Anniversary; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Sparky's Diner.
