CONGRATULATING the Bloomfield High School Varsity
Softball Team upon the occasion of winning the 2025
Class C NYSPHSAA Softball Championship

WHEREAS, Individual and team championships are highly sought after
in high school sports; this Legislative Body commends rare athletic
achievements and pays special recognition to those who pursue such
excellence and become examples for the youth of this great Empire State;
and

WHEREAS, Athletic competition helps to enhance both the moral and
physical development of young athletes, preparing them for the future by
instilling in them the importance of teamwork, encouraging a standard of
healthy living, and developing a sense of fair play and competition; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to congratulate the
Bloomfield High School Varsity Softball Team upon the occasion of
winning the 2025 Class C NYSPHSAA Softball Championship at the
Greenlight Networks Grand Slam Park, in Binghamton, New York, on
Saturday, June 14, 2025; to the praise and applause of their excited
fans, the Lady Bombers defeated the Tuckahoe Tigers with a score of 11-0
to win the championship; and

WHEREAS, Proudly donning the school's colors of royal blue and
white, family, friends, and the community at large loyally and
enthusiastically supported the Bloomfield High School Varsity Softball
Team throughout their journey as they ended their season with a
remarkable overall 24-1 record; and

WHEREAS, In a sport such as softball, which demands quick
decision-making, intense concentration and a high level of physical
prowess, Head Coach Mark Jacobs and his skilled coaching staff worked
hard to hone the skills of this championship team, teaching these
outstanding athletes lessons which will prove invaluable both on and off
the field; and

WHEREAS, Coach Mark Jacobs and all of the outstanding athletes on
the Bloomfield High School Varsity Softball Team have clearly displayed
growth and success, contributing to their school's history of
achievements and academic rigor; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate the members of the Bloomfield High School Varsity Softball
Team: Addison Falsone, Sydney Falsone, Celia Falsone, Evalynn Howlett,
Calla McCombs, Loghan Nowak, Abby O'Brien, Marlee Poole, Brianna
Leitten, Sawyer Gallup, and Ashlyn Wright; Head Coach Mark Jacobs; and
Assistant Coach Cody Domville on their outstanding season and winning
the 2025 Class C NYSPHSAA Softball Championship; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the members of the Bloomfield High School Varsity
Softball Team, Head Coach Mark Jacobs, Assistant Coach Cody Domville,

Superintendent Andrew Doell, Principal Amy Shannon, Athletic Director
Greg Parzych, and School Board President Pamela Nakoski.
