MOURNING the death of Stanley P. Vishinski II,
devoted community volunteer, business owner, and
longtime resident of Patterson, New York

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor and
commemorate the lives of those distinguished citizens whose dedication,
service, and commitment to their communities have left a lasting and
meaningful legacy upon the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, Stanley P. Vishinski II, a longtime resident of Patterson,
New York, passed away on April 9, 2026, at the age of 78, surrounded by
his loving family and friends at Maplewood of Danbury; and

WHEREAS, Born on January 23, 1948, in Port Chester, New York,
Stanley P. Vishinski II was the son of the late Stanley P. Vishinski
and Emma Gazick Cehula; and

WHEREAS, On September 2, 1967, Stanley P. Vishinski II married his
beloved wife, Dianne Green Vishinski, in Rye, New York, and together
they shared more than five decades of devoted marriage until her passing
on January 2, 2020; and

WHEREAS, A fixture of the Patterson community since 1978, Stanley P.
Vishinski II owned and operated Stan's Auto Body for more than 50 years,
earning a reputation as a skilled craftsman, trusted business owner, and
respected member of the local business community; and

WHEREAS, His lifelong passion for automobiles and collision repair
began in his youth and grew into both a successful career and a
cherished lifelong interest, including his enjoyment of stock car racing
in Middletown; and

WHEREAS, Stanley P. Vishinski II also found joy in outdoor pursuits,
including hunting on his family's land in upstate New York, reflecting
his appreciation for tradition, nature, and time spent with loved ones;
and

WHEREAS, Deeply committed to public service and faith, he was an
active member of the Patterson Volunteer Fire Department, serving as
both an Emergency Medical Technician and Fire Police, where he
contributed to the safety and well-being of his community; and

WHEREAS, He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus St. John's
Council 545, the Westchester/Putnam/Rockland Auto Body Association, and
was a faithful parishioner of St. John's the Evangelist Church in
Pawling, New York; and

WHEREAS, Stanley P. Vishinski II was devoted to his family, taking
immense pride in his sons, Stanley P. Vishinski III and Kenneth A.
Vishinski and his wife Lori, both of Patterson, New York; he was a
loving and proud grandfather to Stanley P. Vishinski IV, Andrew, Lucas,
and Jacob, who were the great joy and center of his life; and

WHEREAS, He is further survived by his sisters, Barbara Minnitte of
Rye Brook and Mary Ann Rinaldi of West Harrison, as well as numerous
nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will forever
cherish his memory; and

WHEREAS, Stanley P. Vishinski II also held deep affection for his
extended family by marriage, including his brothers-in-law Robert
Rinaldi, Richard Green, Bobby Green, Teddy Green, and Dominic Minnitte,
whom he regarded as brothers; he was predeceased by his beloved wife,
Dianne Vishinski, his sister Kathy Cehula, and his brothers-in-law
Robert Rinaldi, Richard Green, and Dominic Minnitte; and

WHEREAS, Stanley P. Vishinski II will be remembered as a
hardworking, faithful, and generous man whose life was defined by
service to his community, devotion to his family, and a deep commitment
to his faith; and

WHEREAS, His passing represents a profound loss to all who knew him,
and his legacy will live on through his family, his community
contributions, and the many lives he touched; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
mourn the death of Stanley P. Vishinski II, honoring his lifetime of
service, entrepreneurship, faith, and devotion to family and community;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the family of Stanley P. Vishinski II.
