COMMENDING the Brothers of Essene Lodge No. 97
upon the occasion of hosting their 52nd Annual
Scholarship Dinner Dance on February 22, 2025
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those distinguished organizations whose efforts promote
education, service, and the enrichment of their communities through
scholarship and mentorship; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend the Brothers of Essene Lodge No. 97 upon the occasion of hosting
their 52nd Annual Scholarship Dinner Dance on Saturday, February 22,
2025; this distinguished event is dedicated to fostering academic
achievement, community leadership, and the advancement of future
generations; and
WHEREAS, For over five decades, Essene Lodge No. 97 has been
steadfast in its mission to support the educational aspirations of
deserving students, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder their
pursuit of higher learning and personal excellence; and
WHEREAS, Through scholarships, mentorship, and unwavering community
engagement, this Lodge has played a vital role in nurturing the next
generation of scholars, professionals, and civic leaders, reinforcing
the importance of education as a pathway to opportunity and empowerment;
and
WHEREAS, The 52nd Annual Scholarship Dinner Dance serves as a
momentous occasion to honor scholarship recipients, recognize the
contributions of dedicated members and supporters, and celebrate the
Lodge's enduring commitment to academic and community excellence; and
WHEREAS, This annual gathering reflects the Lodge's values of
integrity, service, and brotherhood, providing a platform to inspire,
uplift, and invest in the promise of young minds who will shape the
future; and
WHEREAS, Through its continued efforts, the Brothers of Essene Lodge
No. 97 exemplify the power of collective action, philanthropy, and
leadership in strengthening communities and expanding educational
opportunities; and
WHEREAS, It is fitting and proper that this Legislative Body pause
in its deliberations to acknowledge the significance of this event and
to recognize the profound contributions of Essene Lodge No. 97 in
promoting education, mentorship, and service; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend the Brothers of Essene Lodge No. 97 upon the occasion of hosting
their 52nd Annual Scholarship Dinner Dance and to extend sincere
appreciation to its members, organizers, and supporters for their
enduring commitment to educational advancement and community service;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the leadership of Essene Lodge No. 97 in recognition of
their outstanding contributions and lasting impact.
