COMMENDING Prince Hall Lodge No. 38 upon the
occasion of hosting its Annual Dinner Dance on June
28, 2025, and recognizing its legacy of service,
leadership, and brotherhood

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those esteemed institutions and organizations that have
demonstrated a steadfast commitment to service, community empowerment,
and the principles of unity and brotherhood; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Prince Hall Lodge No. 38 upon the occasion of hosting its Annual
Dinner Dance, a time-honored event celebrating its rich history,
contributions, and dedication to the community on Saturday, June 28,
2025; and

WHEREAS, Since its founding, Prince Hall Lodge No. 38 has upheld the
core Masonic principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth, fostering
leadership, philanthropy, and service throughout its distinguished
existence; and

WHEREAS, Chartered under the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge
of the State of New York, led by Most Worshipful Grand Master Darren M.
Morton, Ed.D., Prince Hall Lodge No. 38 has played a pivotal role in
advancing education, economic empowerment, and charitable initiatives
that benefit individuals and families throughout the region; and

WHEREAS, The Annual Dinner Dance serves as an opportunity to reflect
on the Lodge's ongoing commitment to community engagement, honor the
achievements of its members, and celebrate the enduring bonds of Masonic
brotherhood and fellowship; and

WHEREAS, Through scholarships, mentorship, and charitable outreach,
Prince Hall Lodge No. 38 continues to uplift and support those in need,
demonstrating an unwavering dedication to the betterment of society; and

WHEREAS, Under the leadership of Most Worshipful Grand Master Darren
M. Morton, Ed.D., Prince Hall Freemasonry in New York remains a beacon
of service and integrity, carrying forth the vision of Prince Hall and
strengthening the legacy of excellence; and

WHEREAS, It is fitting and proper that this Legislative Body pause
in its deliberations to acknowledge the significance of this event and
to recognize the profound contributions of Prince Hall Lodge No. 38 in
fostering leadership, service, and excellence within its community; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Prince Hall Lodge No. 38 upon the occasion of hosting its Annual
Dinner Dance on June 28, 2025, and to extend sincere appreciation to its
members and leadership for their enduring commitment to the ideals of
Freemasonry and public service; and be it further


RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Prince Hall Lodge No. 38 and Most Worshipful Grand Master
Darren M. Morton, Ed.D.
