COMMEMORATING the 128th Annual Grand Session of
Eureka Grand Chapter, Prince Hall Order of the
Eastern Star, to be held on June 2-3, 2025
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
honor those time-honored institutions and gatherings which uplift
service, sisterhood, and spiritual purpose throughout the communities of
New York State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
proud traditions, this Legislative Body is pleased to commemorate the
128th Annual Grand Session of Eureka Grand Chapter, Prince Hall Order of
the Eastern Star, to be held on Monday, June 2-3, 2025, in Tarrytown,
New York; and
WHEREAS, Established in the spirit of unity, moral rectitude, and
benevolence, the Prince Hall Order of the Eastern Star has long served
as a beacon of charitable outreach, educational empowerment, and
community leadership for generations of women and families; and
WHEREAS, The Grand Session stands as a defining occasion in the life
of the Order, providing members from across the jurisdiction with the
opportunity to reflect on their shared mission, elect leadership, honor
distinguished service, and rededicate themselves to the values of
fidelity, constancy, loyalty, faith, and love; and
WHEREAS, Under the inspired leadership of Grand Worthy Patron Grant
M. Valentine, Grand Worthy Matron Marsha L. Mack and other elected
officers, Eureka Grand Chapter continues to guide its members with
grace, dignity, and a resolute commitment to excellence in service to
God, family, and community; and
WHEREAS, The 128th Annual Grand Session will further uplift the
Order's rich heritage and provide a space for spiritual renewal,
fraternal fellowship, and the celebration of extraordinary
accomplishments across the state and nation; and
WHEREAS, The enduring legacy of the Prince Hall Eastern Star is
woven into the very fabric of civic life throughout New York, and this
Grand Session serves as a vibrant reminder of the Order's profound
influence on generations past, present, and future; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 128th Annual Grand Session of Eureka Grand Chapter,
Prince Hall Order of the Eastern Star, and to extend its highest
commendation to the leadership and members for their continued devotion
to the spiritual, charitable, and social uplift of communities across
New York State; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Grand Worthy Patron Grant M. Valentine and Grand Worthy
Matron Marsha L. Mack on behalf of Eureka Grand Chapter.
