COMMENDING the Sunshine Chapter No. 34, Order of
the Eastern Star upon the occasion of hosting its
"Sisterhood in Bloom: A Five Point Tea Floral
Celebration" on April 27, 2025

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend organizations that promote unity, service, and empowerment
within our communities, fostering traditions that inspire personal
growth and collective progress; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend the Sunshine Chapter No. 34, Order of the Eastern Star upon the
occasion of hosting its "Sisterhood in Bloom: A Five Point Tea Floral
Celebration," an event to be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, which
honors the principles of sisterhood, leadership, and service; and

WHEREAS, As a distinguished chapter within the Order of the Eastern
Star, Sunshine Chapter No. 34 has long been a pillar of community
engagement, charitable service, and fellowship, dedicated to uplifting
women and strengthening their commitment to faith, family, and
philanthropy; and

WHEREAS, The Five Point Tea Floral Celebration serves as a
time-honored gathering that reflects the values of the Five Heroines of
the Order of the Eastern Star, symbolizing the virtues of fidelity,
constancy, loyalty, faith, and love, and encouraging attendees to embody
these guiding principles in their daily lives; and

WHEREAS, This vibrant occasion not only celebrates sisterhood and
unity but also supports philanthropic efforts that make a lasting
difference in the lives of those in need, reaffirming Sunshine Chapter
No. 34's commitment to service and excellence; and

WHEREAS, Through this event, members and guests alike are inspired
to cultivate leadership, embrace tradition, and strengthen bonds of
fellowship, ensuring that the legacy of the Order of the Eastern Star
continues to flourish for future generations; and

WHEREAS, It is fitting and proper that this Legislative Body pause
in its deliberations to acknowledge the significance of this event and
recognize the dedicated members of Sunshine Chapter No. 34 for their
enduring contributions to community service and sisterhood; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Sunshine Chapter No. 34, Order of the Eastern Star upon the
occasion of hosting its "Sisterhood in Bloom: A Five Point Tea Floral
Celebration" on April 27, 2025, and to extend its best wishes for a
successful and meaningful gathering; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Sunshine Chapter No. 34, Order of the Eastern Star.
