HONORING Lauren C. Enea for her exemplary service
to her community and the State of New York

WHEREAS, The Great State of New York is only as great as those
individuals who perform exemplary service on behalf of their
communities, whether through unique achievement in professional or other
endeavors or simply through a lifetime of good citizenship; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
this year's Shining Star, Lauren C. Enea, to be recognized at the Pace
University's 30th Annual Law Leadership Dinner at the Westchester
Country Club in Rye, New York, on Thursday, March 27, 2025; and

WHEREAS, Lauren Enea is Partner at Enea, Scanlan & Sirgnano, LLP; in
this role, she concentrates her practice on Wills, Trusts, and Estates;
Medicaid Planning; Special Needs Planning; and Probate/Estate
Administration; she believes that it is never too early or too late to
start planning for the future and enjoys working with individuals to
ensure that their plans specifically suit their needs; and

WHEREAS, In addition to her client successes, Lauren Enea plays a
key role in the firm's growth; she recently led Enea, Scanlan &
Sirignano, LLP's expansion into a second office in Somers, New York,
complementing the primary location in White Plains; this strategic move
reflects Lauren Enea's commitment to broaden the firm's reach and
enhance accessibility for clients in the community; and

WHEREAS, An active member of local bar associations, Lauren Enea was
appointed to the Executive Committee of the Westchester County Bar
Association (WCBA) Trusts and Estates Section; she is also Co-Chair of
the WCBA New Lawyers Section, a member of the Board of Directors of the
Columbian Lawyers Association of Westchester County, Chair of the New
York State Bar Association (NYSBA) Elder Law and Special Needs Section
Publications Committee, and Co-Editor of the NYSBA Elder Law and Special
Needs Section Journal; she is Past Co-Chair of the NYSBA Elder Law and
Special Needs Section 2020 Fall Meeting and 2022 Summer Meeting; and

WHEREAS, In 2020, Lauren Enea was awarded the Outstanding New Lawyer
Award by the Westchester County Bar Association; she was also included
in the 2021-2024 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list and the 2023-2025 Best
Lawyers: Ones to Watch list; and

WHEREAS, Lauren Enea was recognized at Westfair Communications' 2019
Millennial Awards and as a 2022 Westchester Wunderkind by 914INC; she is
President of the Board of Directors of CAREERS Support Solutions, a
non-profit organization, which assists individuals with disabilities to
obtain gainful employment in Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess Counties,
and a member of the Pace Women's Justice Center Advisory Board, Friends
of Gail; and

WHEREAS, Lauren Enea received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Management from Quinnipiac University, graduating magna cum

laude, and a Juris Doctor degree from the Pace University School of Law,
graduating summa cum laude; she is admitted to practice law in New York
and Florida; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Lauren
C. Enea for her exemplary service to her community and the State of New
York; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Lauren C. Enea.
